What are people saying about Muscle Mutts?

“Absolutely thrilled that we have the opportunity to access such a well educated and passionate trainer! Kayla was able to come to our house and spend 1-1 time evaluating Marit and listening to my concerns and goals. Kayla’s turn around time was very quick and the write up was detailed and informative. After deciding on next steps, Kayla came up with a great plan to help work to improve some identified weaknesses in Marit’s fitness and help work towards my goal of a healthy aging agility partner.

I can’t recommend Kayla and Muscle Mutts enough!”

“Kayla has been an amazing source of support during my journey with my special needs dog, Ember. She has given me strength training exercises for her front limbs and posture exercises to help support her body structure.

She is also helping me get my agility dog Hope ready for our first national agility competition. Having the ability to reach out with questions and send video to make sure we are correctly performing the exercises is wonderful.

Muscle Mutts has been invaluable to me in my endeavor to improve my dogs health. Having corgis, I want to do all I can to support their body structure. Anytime I feel like I am not doing enough for my dogs, Kayla reminds me otherwise.”

“I reached out to Kayla of Muscle Mutts to work on some conditioning with my agility dog, Shock. He has great skills on course but I could tell his big boy body has some trouble maneuvering around on todays courses.

Here’s why we loved it!

She put together the ENTIRE workout plan! No more wondering what exercises to do , the exercises are laid out for you.

She details the exercises PERFECTLY!!! What do I look for? What does this do? Am I doing this correct? All perfectly answered in her descriptions!

Weekly consults- Kayla will evaluate your videos with you, making sure you’re getting it correct!

The workout plans last forever. Even if you acquire X amount of weeks of workout plans, you can always return to them. It’s a lifelong investment; who doesn’t appreciate that?!

Lastly shock LOVES doing something with me everyday. This workout plan only inspires this to happen, and that is priceless.”

“I so appreciate Kayla!

I first met Kayla at a veterinary clinic where she would work on strength training exercises weekly with my dog Pokey, a 10 year old Golden Retriever. As an aging dog, Pokey began to show signs of muscle weakness and loss of flexibility in his back legs.  Through physical therapy with Kayla, I noticed improvements with Pokey’s gait.  As Pokey continued to work with Kayla, his aging process seemed to slow.

When Kayla began working on her own, I was excited to know that she would still be available to provide physical therapy for Pokey. I have continued to see noticeable improvements in him.  He has an easier time with the exercises Kayla does with him, he has more energy, and the best part is he is wagging his tail again.  He is also more playful with my 4 year old Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix, Winnie.  I attribute so much of this to Kayla.  She truly has a genuine understanding and love for animals.

Kayla’s services also include agility training. Now Kayla is working with both dogs – Pokey for physical therapy and Winnie for agility training.  On a weekly basis, Kayla comes to our home to work with them.  Pokey and Winnie get so excited.  All I have to do is say, “Kayla’s coming” and they race to the door and watch out the window for her arrival. I am so thankful for Kayla and the love and care she shows Pokey and Winnie.”
